Need some inspiration?
“We get really busy in summer as everyone knows. Working on Luge you’d probably find 5 phones a day down the tracks. My friend and I did a vlog on the chairlift back to the top, the people loved it so much we got a good review. Which means I also got a few Star Reward Cards, which if you know means a free butter chicken meal from Market Kitchen.”
- Paora, 31
“During one lunch rush I accidentally mixed up an order, instead of an angry customer they said to me “I didn’t know I ordered a surprise!”. It broke the tension and made my day!”
- Mel, 48
“I used to do some pretty late shifts on the Gondola way back in the day. One night I had my music going and a customer came up and started doing a crazy kanikani in front of me, I don’t know what the dance was called but man it was funny. I still remember it to this day; the old guy was really going for it.”
- Matty, 56
“I was working in the photo booth only a few years ago and we had a major power cut, I was a bit annoyed at first, but I got to sit and talk with a tour bus from America while eating ice cream! People often complain about their jobs, but this was definitely the best job I’ve had to date.”
- Lauryn, 24
