Meet The Animals
Our family of Alpaca’s can be found grazing the slopes of Mt. Ngongotaha and are spoilt with what we think is the best view in New Zealand!
Our three friendly Alpaca’s love meeting visitors and hanging out with their shorter “sheepy” mates by the nature trails.
Also see if you can spot fallow deer and rabbits from the Gondola as you head up the mountain.
Mini Diggers
Little ones can take control of the coin-operated mini Volvo diggers to be the master of the sandpit.
The diggers work just like real excavators and are fun for the kids…and grown-ups!
Nature Trails
Explore our scenic nature trails with informative and interactive panels, as well as weta hotels and a wind up grinder which generates bird noises, while also taking advantage of spectacular views and seating areas.
More than 15,000 native trees have been planted on-site, with an additional 12,000 along the new Luge track development and Skyline Rotorua has installed feeding troughs in the trees to encourage birdlife to the area.
Take your time on the trails and allow for between 20 minutes to an hour at a leisurely stroll.
