Providing an unforgettable occasion
Skyline Rotorua offers unique settings for the most special day of your life. There are various settings for your reception, including the Hidden Forest Venue and Skyline’s Stratosfare Restaurant. Different ceremony spaces are also available.
While you have your photos taken, your guests can enjoy canapés and champagne in our stunning location.
Our Wedding coordinator will assist with planning an elegant or more rustic type of wedding to ensure we provide a memorable occasion to suit your individual taste, requirements, and budget. We will coordinate additional arrangements – including table centerpieces, chair covers, and entertainment through to holding your ceremony here at Skyline, making your day truly special.

Skyline can offer the Terraces steps area for Wedding Ceremonies. (over looks Mokoia Island)
- A minimum of 100 paying adults is required to host a Wedding at Hidden Forest Venue
- Stratosfare – (Pōhutu Venue) require a minimum of 120 paying adults
- Skyline would be happy to negotiate depending of Date or month required
Skyline is unable accept external catering or BYO at venues.
Skyline Rotorua works within blackout date, when we are unable to hire out any of our venues for private bookings or weddings if your date falls within any of the following:
- All New Zealand School holidays.
- Statutory Holidays, Long weekends including Easter Weekend
- Christmas/New Year Holidays (Late December to late January)
- Skyline Christmas Party nights (November and December Friday and Saturday nights)
- We do not accept any gondola card rates for event bookings
- Gondola Ride Per Person is included in all prices
- We can prearrange a Skyline Shuttle to be at our Main Bottom Terminal to transfer you to the top
- It is essential this is organized before date of arrival on site to ensure there is a Shuttle ready.
